Two Lebanese named, Imad Harb, and Toni Harb, along with their company ( Transparent Construction Nigeria Limited) were arraigned before the court for trying to dupe one Mr. Ogadinma, owner of Rasing Cypon Global Services Limited.
According to Mr. Ogadinma, the two Lebanese conspired to dupe him his payment for the supply of 800 bags of cement at the price of N2,200 per bag, amounting to N1,760,000 which he supplied them in April this year.
The accused persons pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The defence counsel I.O ugwu prayed the court to grant the accused bail as the offence is bailable.
But the appeal was rejected by Justice E.N Oluedo on the ground that it was not properly filed.
The Judge ordered that the accused persons be remanded in EFCC custody as the hearing of the bail was adjourned to December 1, 2016.
